
Join NCLUG in celebrating National Surveyors Week - March 21-27, 2021 with a series of FREE webinars from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Attendees can earn up to 5 pdh's for attending.
Here is an outline for the week:
March 22nd - NCDOT Surveyor Update & NC Society of Surveyors Outreach
NCDOT's Jeff Garland will overview the departments roll out for Bentley's OpenRoad Design (ORD) and Emory Kincaid will highlight some upcoming features and capabilities from Location & Survey Unit.
NCLUG is proud to host Christy Davis from NC Society of Surveyors to talk about getting more people, especially kids, unto the survey industry. Our hopes are to inspire you to do some outreach and be proud of your craft.
March 23rd - Trimble Business Center Training
Mark White with Duncan-Parnell will go over how to process data in Trimble and bring it into MicroStation ORD.
March 24th - Bentley OpenRoad Designer - Survey Update
Don Lee with Bentley will present the latest updates to ORD Survey platform. He will overview the survey capabilities in OpenRoad Designer.
March 25th - NCDOT Location & Survey Roundtable
NCDOT's Emory Kincaid will attempt to answers your questions and provide feedback about the departments implementation of OpenRoad Designer (ORD). If you like to submit a question prior to the webinar to be addressed, send an email to events@nclug.com.
March 26th - Drones for Survey
Brian Flaherty with ESP, will discuss a 400 foot overview of a typical drone operation for surveying. He will discuss operational expenses, limitations, documentation, software, expectations and realizations of a UAV program.

This event will be offer for FREE to NCLUG members. The webinars will be recorded and posted to the website after the event. Attendees can earn 1 pdh credit for attending each live event (5 pdh's total for the week). Note attendees must be registered thru the NCLUG website. No pdh credits will be offered for viewing the recordings.
Same meeting link will be used for all 5 webinars, so you only need to register once.
